Fuzzybuni

Recently, I uploaded two stamps to my gallery but they both come up a slightly lower quality after submitted on DeviantART. The stamps are in excellent quality on my computer, however, after upload, they are a little bit blurry so it is not a layer or photo editing problem. What is the best file type to use to upload a stamp to keep its original quality on dA? Any suggestions would be appreciated! PS: I am so confused for the purpose of the cover photo when half the time the website shows the top half and then other times it shows the middle of the photo. Another question, it is: what kind of photo or art piece is best to upload for a journal entry cover photo (i.e. a tiled image, a large ambiguous background, etc.)? Also, the cover photos are SO BLURRY when you visit anyone's profile page, but not if you click the entry to read more.

To those that have been active in the recent years of DeviantART, but also may have some reference of understanding to its interface about 5-10 years ago... What are some of the changes you've noticed? Here are some of the things I've seen and questions I have: The picture quality after changing the "Display options" has gone down tremendously. How do you avoid the added pixelation and discolouration? I used to avoid it by uploading the file type as PNG, but that doesn't work anymore. I always choose smaller sizes for my drawings to display as (because scans are enormous), but anytime you click to zoom in, the picture is all "blown up" and blurry, unless you change the "Display options" to the Original size; then the picture is clear. It's almost like when you choose a smaller display size, the image then blows back up to meet the constraints of your original image size dimensions when magnified.
